frustrations

So I started testing people who had Acrobat on the new install process and moving people to the admin portal.  I looked to see who on our team had it.  I needed a never had it ever person and someone who did have it but the older version.  In our group, not easy to do. I asked Angie if I could test with her and she said yes.  We did an update, account creation, etc and it went very well. It was taking a really long time for her to get the email though.  SO I used Tom and Kevin to test out the new installs.  It was perfect!  Tom selected Pro download even though he had Std assigned.  Once he logged in, it turned to Std.  I was so excited!  This was great news!  I went around the corner and told stephanie and she said "from now on, the only testing you will do is with our group, no outside groups like Angie's team".  well, I was happy for 10 seconds I guess. I told her that only one person on her team had it besides myself and they weren't in.  And Angie was kind of like our group since she was in the same row.  She gave me a death cold stare and said Angie is not part of our group and you should never go to her again for testing. OMG, seriously? We used IT finance and that seemed to be ok but not Angie?  Is it me, or Angie?  Or the fact that we are close that bothers her?  I just don't understand it.  I told Angie I can't use her for testing and why, she said she was sorry that she got me in trouble.  I just totally don't understand this thing.  I told Jason about it and he just shrugged his shoulders and said Well, don't use Angie then.  Shouldn't we test with as many people as possible?
