ideas shot down

So I had a great idea about doing a report for andy's meetings like all the other managers.  At one point, Andy even said I should do this.  I talked to Becky about it and I was going to put something together.  Then I told Stephanie.  She just looked at me, stared and said you think that is a good idea?  No, it isn't.  No, you will not be doing this, NO ONE on my team will be doing that. ITAM is so much different than GRC that I just don't understand.  She doesn't want me to present anything to Andy.  I already do monthly reports so it wouldn't be that big of a deal.  Even starting out that way.  Becky thought it was a great idea and she runs it.  I said something to Jason about doing it and Stephanie shooting me down and he just shrugged his shoulders.  Again, I am not getting any support.
