not that type of risk
So Jason went off that ITAM is not IT Security risk. We are more of a financial risk. He totally doesn't understand what ITAM is. He said he can learn it in just a few days. Thanks. That make me feel like my 18 years doing this with multiple companies and having all my certs are basically meaning less. Actually, he said they are meaningless because he has never heard of them. Well, you are not in ITAM and don't understand the importance of it. I love being moved under him and being told this type of thing. I just don't even understand this move. What he does isn't ITAM at all but what Angie does IS. Why are we not being put under the right group? Cause Angie said Stephanie wouldn't give up ITAM. why not? if you don't care about it, what is the point to have it in your group? what is the motive there? So Jason said that he doesn't think we should be owning the hardware nor software. We shouldn't be involved in it at all. That is what I have been trying to change for the past few years. It was the wild wild west before. No one tracked what they had and just shared the software. Trying to cut that back! It is a very slow process when you just don't have the people in your corner to move forward. He just says financial risk isn't really a risk and nothing something he should have to worry about. He is worried about IT risk. I tried to explain to him what we do and why. He doesn't care.
